Vanessa is actually the best. I am so happy I found her again and that she has such a cute and amazing spot! I met and started getting waxed by her 7 years ago at a different location and have never once been disappointed after an appointment and always look forward to the next one. Vanessa has great energy and just knows how to make people feel comfortable, she’s so fun, easy to talk to, and honest.

I, like many, am very private about well, my privates. I would drive 1.5 hours one way for waxing just because that was the provider I started with, even after relocating, and she was not located in the community I lived in (as I didn’t want to run into the person at the store). I finally was forced to find a new provider, and I found Shaina Gallagher with Mariposa. She is amazing; relaxed, pleasant, funny, and just an absolute delightful person. Not to mention very good at what she does. I feel very fortunate to have her as my waxing provider. The studio is great: clean and centrally located. Shaina is fast but meticulous. I don’t believe you can find a more perfect provider, try as you may.

Shaina is so awesome! I love her and her amazing personality to bits. When I first started getting waxed, I was a little nervous, but she makes you feel so comfortable and is so easy to talk to, now I won’t go to anyone else for my waxing needs. She’s amazing at what she does, she works with your schedule, and the studio is absolutely adorable and nicely decorated. I’ve been going to her for over a year now and I consider her a friend. Highly recommend!

Vanessa has been my go to since I moved to the Chico area, a little over 3 years ago now. I’ve tried other gals during the COVID closure and they didn’t come close to her. She is personable and professional and has become a great friend. Her space is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Vanessa has definitely mastered her craft and you get more than what you pay for. I always leave her studio feeling so confident. She explains everything, is fast and uses high quality wax. She is amazing! Definitely recommend her and her services!
