Extremely Dissatisfied with Waxing Services and Lack of Professionalism
I am compelled to share my recent, thoroughly disappointing experience at Body Wax McDonough. The level of unprofessionalism I encountered during my appointment left me deeply dissatisfied. MIND YOU, I have been a LOYAL client and I am writing this.
During the waxing session, the technician (Kiana) failed to complete the service, claiming a shortage of materials. She was even attending a phone call, since her sister was rushing her- since it was about 6:45pm. To my shock, I found myself attempting to wax parts of my own body with minimal assistance. The technician's lack of preparation and apparent shortage of essential materials, such as oil, left me in a sticky and uncomfortable state. I left the salon feeling disheveled and had to deal with the aftermath of sticky residue on my clothes, which was incredibly inconvenient. THE BACK OF MY LEGS ARE NOT EVEN WAXED.
Seeking resolution, I reached out to the salon the next day and was advised to visit another location, driving 35 miles as per their instructions. However, upon arrival, I discovered there was no record of my appointment, rendering the trip entirely futile. Although Ms. Daisy handled the refund process, the inconvenience and miscommunication were undeniable. I have yet to discuss with Ms. Daisy about my experience, I have NOT heard from her after the refund. I have contacted them many times- but again no response as of yet.
Despite assurances that the boss would contact me on Monday, my numerous attempts to follow up have gone unanswered. This lack of communication leaves me feeling unheard, and I am incredibly dissatisfied with the overall handling of the situation. How could you run a refund, but NOT speak to the client to see why she is so DISSATISFIED?
I sincerely hope that my feedback prompts the necessary improvements at Body Wax McDonough. The level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction I experienced should be addressed promptly. I expected a higher standard of service and communication, and unfortunately, my experience has fallen far short of that.
In conclusion, I am left with the feeling that my concerns have not been taken seriously, and I am compelled to share this review to highlight the need for significant improvements in customer service and professionalism. I thought many times before writing this review, but I have no choice since I have not been heard.
I hope that this situation is handled to the best of the best manners.
However, Julia the front desk receptionist has been the sweetest, she has been understanding the situation and listening to me vent. I just want my voice to be heard.
Think a few times, because I don't wish this on my WORST enemy.
