I recently visited this salon on June 30th for an underarm waxing service, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. Since the treatment, I've had a severe breakout, irritation, redness, and significant discomfort in the treated area and its surroundings.

The technician only wiped my armpits with dry paper towels and did not sanitize the area prior to waxing. I believe this lack of proper sanitation contributed to the adverse reaction I am now experiencing.

When I called on July 1st to report my condition and seek assistance, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive. She suggested I use hydrogen peroxide to sanitize the area and implied that my reaction was because it was my first time waxing. This is incorrect; I told her it was my first time using European Wax, not my first time waxing. Then she responded asking me what I would like her to do about it? When I asked for her name multiple times, she refused to provide it, leading me to hang up in frustration.

The quality of service and customer care I received were unacceptable. I am in urgent need of assistance to address the reaction caused by the treatment. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously.

European Wax Center is such a great place - multiple convenient locations, professionally run, clean, modern, comfortable & spacious. You’re always seen on time & practices & aestheticians are hygienic & thorough. Check in staff is generally friendly and welcoming. Kylie in particular is my “Go-To” aesthetician - she’s polite, professional, thorough, and has a deft hand. Mid-City is my home boutique - but I’m sure all the other locations are well run & comparable!
