First time at this place, as I was new to the city, aside from getting a little lost navigating the area, the overall experience with my esthetician, Valeria, was very pleasant. Even though I’ve gotten multiple sugar waxes, I appreciated her walking me through what she was doing, what to expect. And everything was very light and casual, never an awkward moment. Have to wait to see the results on how the waxing takes, but very hopeful on becoming a regular.

I was nervous at first with this being my first time at this location. But Valeria was so sweet and comforting during my sugar wax session. I definitely will be returning for more appointments.

My appointment was from 9:40am - 10am, but I wasn't taken back until 10:10 am and finished around 11 am. The esthetician was really nice & apologetic. However, the studio was EXTREMELY DIRTY. There were dry wax drips all over the floor, along with dust & debris. The studio lacked essential supplies like sanitizing spray for the waxing bed, gloves & paper for the bed. There was visible dust all over the studio, including air vents, cabinets & decore. There were dirty handprints & grey smudges all over the white cabinets. It looks like the studio has not been cleaned in months, just by looking at the wax drip build up on the floor. The only reason I stayed for the service is because I don't have any other time available & needed the services done today, but I will not be returning. I'm only giving 2 stars because the esthetician was nice, but I give the business a 1 star.

I went in to get sugaring hair removal and a lash lift. The esthetician, Mercedes, seemed rushed and unorganized. She was scrambling to find the products that she needed. After I was already laying down, she told me sugaring was not available but was wax okay? I was reluctant but I said okay. The wax was done quickly, but she didn’t take the time to treat the area with aloe until after the lash lift was done. That should have been my first red flag. Once I got home I saw that some skin had been removed from my upper lip. I could see it was a burn from the wax. I could tell that it was going to scab.

Onto the lash lift. I felt it was going fine. She kept asking if I was okay and if I was experiencing any burning, which I appreciated. Once the lift was done and she had me open my eyes, they began burning. I figured maybe this was common, but when I saw my eyes in the mirror they were very red. The skin under my eyes was very splotchy, red, & irritated. She mentioned that could be because she didn’t have the eye pads that she needed. My question is why wasn’t I contacted before this appointment to let me know that sugaring wasn’t available, and the products needed weren’t in stock? Why keep the appointment if you don’t have what you need?
There was also some lash glue on the tips of my lashes which she said was would fall off. I’m like okay… giving her the benefit of the doubt. When I got home though, I saw I had glue all over my lids and lashes. It was obvious to me then that I was not treated the way I should’ve been. These poorly done and dissatisfying services left me feeling upset. STAY AWAY from this place unless you want to walk around with glue all over your face and a scab on your upper lip that looks worse than the hair that was there in the first place! Disappointed is an UNDERSTATEMENT!! You’re working on people’s bodies, specifically their eyes, and face! That should be taken seriously… I contacted the business the next day and was told a manager would contact me within 24/48 hours. I still have not heard anything. This place is a complete joke.

First time last year for Brazilian wax... I LOVE VALARIE. She has been our girl... Feels so comfortable with her like we have been friends for so long. Clean, change gloves every wax, she has different wax for how many times she has to apply to you... Detail oriented.
