Good service, prices could have been better communicated.

Upon arrival for my appointment, I was asked which type of wax I wanted to use; I blindly chose the one that sounded best and proceeded to have my wax done. At checkout, I was told it was $20 extra to use that kind of wax, with no mention of that prior (wasn’t clearly written anywhere either), which felt a little bit like I’d been scammed. A $20 up charge on the service just for a different kind of wax not only felt like a pretty hefty charge, but to never communicate that to the customer is unacceptable and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Aside from that, had a great service (partially through Classpass, partially through paying out of pocket.) Service was professional and well done, which is why this wasn’t a 1 star review.

Nice and friendly staff! Got a brazilian wax with a groupon (found out it is the same as normal prices) and the wax went well. Better than I expected! Didn't hurt as much since the staff was talking me through it. Did wait a bit even though I booked an appt but wasn't an issue. Would come again!

I always have a great experience at this location. I travel from Brooklyn just to go there. 100% recommend this place for your threading and waxing needs they are the best I have never had a bad experience and always recommended people to go. You won’t regret it!

Under no circumstances should you come here for waxing - truly horrible. The person locked me into the salon and would not let me out until I paid much more than the price for the service.

They were also extremely slow, and spent more time talking about other expensive add ons they could offer me instead of doing their job. After one hour for what should have been at most a 20 minute service, and the service still only half completed because of all the talking, I got up with wax still sticking to me and just left, paying for the service even though it was half done, and not well done even on the half completed, and then the woman would not unlock the door because she insisted on a tip - for that experience!
Strongly advise people to never come here, extremely shady and poor service.

I walked in and they started right away. They did a good job, it felt a little rushed but overall it was still a good job. Didn’t hurt at all. They did a little lotion massage after too. Great prices would definitely come here again.

Horrible! I have to write this to make customers aware. I had bought a 2 Brazilian biquini wax from Groupon. The first visit went well, I was giving a card for the second treatment. I went a couple of weeks ago before my trip and the woman who barely spoke English told me "We don't have chocolate wax you have to pay $25 more for sensitive wax" I told her that I have bought 2 sessions for chocolate waxing why didn't she told me she did not have the product when I called 2 hours early. She said "chocolate no good, it hurts, get sensitive" I told her I have use chocolate many times and I was fine with it and I was not going to pay $25 more, if they do not have the product they should not use a public platform like Groupon. At this point she acted like she did not understand anymore. I told her I was leaving and I would call Groupon. Then she said she would use lotion wax ? I asked what thar was and she said "is wax, is wax". Anyway, I was leaving on vacation and went with it. What a horror! She applied the product but pull the hair the opposite direction she was supposed to and, that, hurt, when she finished I was sticky all over and when I was getting dress, I noticed a bit of blood under me, she had ripped my skin. Needless to say that potion she used it was sticky for days, Horrible! I emailed Groupon and they were nice and professional and gave the price of the wax sessions back to what I told them Thank you but I don't want the refund because I did use the service, I want them (Groupon) to call the merchant and make him aware of it. If I want to pay $25 more over the Groupon price I would go to a reputable business not a shady place like this. Do not go to this place they are not an honest service and who hires a limited English spoken person for customer service? This is the United States Of America for God's sake and that is a customer service oriented place, hire someone that speaks proper English, is professional AND know what she is doing. Do not go there!
