Greona is EVERYTHING!! I had the same waxer for 5 years before I moved to LA, and I was going back and forth to the Bay until she quit. I have gone to a few different places here and no one even remotely compares to her. The studio is super cute, clean, the vibes are flawless. Her skin oils left my eyebrows 0% irritated after a waxing (rare), and they looked FLAWLESS. I got compliments immediately. As a queer person I wouldn’t have a second thought recommending her to other queer and trans people which is honestly kind of rare with waxers. Finding a person you can feel safe with for an intimate service is so valuable.
Her attention to detail is impeccable, I hadn’t gotten a brazilian in a while and she works quick! I truly cannot recommend her enough. I am so happy to be SAVED from these subpar waxers. I have never have gotten an ingrown until the last place I went in Silverlake, which was extremely stubborn and she took care of it in no time.
I was a little bit confused about how to fill out the client consent form at first- you need to download the Booksy app to do so. It doesn’t pop up on the website and only in the app, just an fyi!

I had an Amazing experience with Greona!

I got a Brazilian wax and it was my second one ever, but the first by her. She was SO MUCH BETTER than the first woman that did my Brazilian. Completely different experience. She was so knowledgeable, personable and sweet. Her studio is so clean and dope, it matches her vibe perfectly. I was running late but luckily she didn’t have an immediate client right after (which doesn’t matter because her time is valuable either way), but she was so gracious and patient with me before just canceling. (That would’ve stressed me tf out after everything I did to get there) That says a lot about her personality! She’s soooo sweet for still taking me in.

She also gave me great suggestions for skin care products, so I bought a coffee scrub and she gave me a free sample of a cream to try for the week for ingrown hairs. I made sure to tip her more than 20% for the amazing service and her patience.

I will DEFINITELY come back to her for all services. ❤️

Suggestion: She’s in downtown, so don’t even think about the parking meters, they are all constantly full, then you get stuck in traffic from having to loop around. THAT’S WHY I WAS LATE!
Either Uber or just go straight to the paid parking lots. They range from $8 to $15 for the day. (But also be careful with some of the lots… I got trapped in the stairwell because the doors lock from the inside, it was terrifying and filthy—find the elevator please.)

4 hours before my apt I get a call to tell me to fill in the waiver form, I tell her I’m driving and will get to it before my apt, seemed fine as she didn’t give me any timeframe to do it by. 1 hour later she cancels my apt. I message her minutes after that to say I’ve just got home & happy to get the form over, zero response back. If this form is so important maybe send it with the booking confirmation? Also please be respectful with people’s time, I had planned my day around this apt when booking it yesterday. Best you focus more on improving your communication & lowering your arrogance.

Went to rebook & remembered I didn’t leave a review. Greona has really created an oasis of comfort and peace for clients. My wax was fast and I wasn’t uncomfortable, the hair has been away for so long I’m just now really needing to return! 🙂

This was the most pleasant waxing experience I have ever had. I actually felt an completely reset, much better leaving then when I arrived. I learned so much about skin care and I had almost no irritation the next day. I also purchased the healing concentrate oil, it smells sooo good!! Greona is definitely gifted and cares deeply about her craft, I'm really happy to have crossed paths!

Didn’t even go in and would’ve been my first time but know this isn’t a friendly or caring place. Being told “you’re not the right type of person for my salon” because my personal info was stolen and am weary about giving a complete stranger my card info is not the type of people that you want to have touching you. Very disrespectful and ugly personality having person. Don’t waste your time.
