The Wax Bar operates with the highest standards regarding professionalism, expertise, hygiene and scheduling. It was my and my bf's first Brazilian waxing experience and although I had many establishment choices, this was not the case for my bf as men were not allowed. After much searching, I fortunately found Davalyn Foley at the Lockhill Selma locale , one of 2 waxers in the SA metro who will wax men. This was 8 years ago. I have been seeing her once a month since then.

Her "tableside" manner is the epitome of professionalism and her naturally warm and down-to-earth personality puts her clients at ease in what could easily be an uncomfortable situation for anyone. She obviously takes great pride in her work as she is extremely thorough in removing every single little hair that may try to escape her initial strip. She does all of this very quickly and efficiently. She is always punctual and appreciates the same from her clients.

The front office staff is always friendly and helpful with appointment reminders and communication regarding any changes. Booking, rescheduling or canceling appointments could not be easier using their downloadable app. Also, using their loyalty rewards every 5th visit comes with 15% off and the 11th visit is FREE!!

Pricing is quite reasonable and clearly listed on the app. They accept all sorts of normal payment methods including Venmo, PayPal and CashApp for gratuity.

PRO TIP: If you're so inclined, take a "shot of courage" at their convenient self serve bar.
