I’ve been a regular customer at this salon for a while now, but after today, I will not be returning. My experience was incredibly disappointing due to poor customer service and a lack of professionalism.

One of the staff members was rushing to attend to multiple customers at once, including me, while there were other employees sitting idle. This attempt at multitasking resulted in sloppy service for everyone involved.

For instance, she started my wax but left halfway through to work on another customer’s eyebrows without finishing mine. I politely pointed out that she missed areas, but instead of addressing the issue, she continued bouncing between customers. At one point, I was left with wax on my face for several minutes while she assisted others and even handled a transaction for a walk-in. Ultimately, I had to remove the remaining wax myself and ended up overpaying for the poor service before leaving the salon.

What’s also frustrating is their payment policy. They force customers to pay in cash, and they make sure to state their reasons are to avoid charging and paying taxes, which is both unprofessional and unethical.

I’ve given this place several chances, but today was the final straw. It’s clear they prioritize rushing through services to maximize profits rather than taking pride in their work or ensuring customer satisfaction. If I could give less than one star, I would. I’m beyond disappointed.

My go to place for any of my beauty needs. Waxing, threading, facials, massages, eyelash extensions and more! The staff is always friendly and they are very professional. It's a really good experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. They are reasonably priced and there is something for everyone. Even the pricier services are worth it because you get what you pay for and then some. The place is always clean and really takes pride in their work. Definitely recommend coming here or even their Manhattan location. I never leave disappointed.

I recently visited Unique Beauty Salon and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service from the staff. The salon itself is beautifully decorated and has a very relaxing atmosphere.

The services offered at Unique Beauty are top-notch. I received eyebrow and lip
threading, eyelash extensions, eyebrow tinting and a fabulous facial. The associate was attentive and listened carefully to my requests. The end result was exactly what I wanted, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

The prices at Unique Beauty are also very reasonable for the quality of service they provide. I appreciated that there were no hidden fees or surprises when it came time to pay.

Overall, I highly recommend Unique Beauty for anyone looking for a great beauty salon in Astoria, Queens. The staff are professional and skilled, and the salon is a welcoming and comfortable space to spend time in. I will definitely be returning for future services!

I used to love coming to this eyebrow place, up until today. I walked up and told the lady doing my brows that I JUST wanted a clean up, not a reshape and definitely not to take off half my eyebrows after it took me 2+ years to grow them out. A worker today messed up my eyebrows completely and left them uneven!! I told her to try make the other side look the same and she still left it uneven. I miss the old workers because they actually took the time and patience to work with you. Never coming here again!

THEY MADE ME WASH MY EYES IN THE SINK.
Please do not go here I used to love getting my eyebrow and eyelash tint here by Sami or suchi always done so well and such a professional job but I went back and all the staff was new I got my eyelashes tinted and they made me get up and wash my eyes in the sink to get rid of the dye so unprofessional! The woman who did my eyebrows also did them uneven and one is a different shape to the other please hire trained professionals!

Very clean and sanitary. Great customer service and hours of operation are perfect for those who work late and need spa/glam services at the last minute. Highly recommend this place... You are welcomed with a smile and that's important especially when staff will be servicing you/seeing you intimately
